Patrick J. Mahoney, or Pádraig Fhia Ó Mathúna, is an award-winning historian and writer. A former Fulbright scholar, he is the author of 3 books, including The Fenian Empire: A Hemispheric History of Irish Republican Nationalism and Recovering an Irish Voice from the American Frontier. He lives in Belfast with his wife and daughter.
